GlitchWalker
A third-person roguelike in Unreal Engine 5, built as a thin layer of data and subclasses on GameplayFramework.
What it is
GlitchWalker is a third-person roguelike from AyaDog Games, our game label: runs through procedurally placed levels, items with their own identity, condition, and wear, and combat and progression built on the Gameplay Ability System.
What we built
The game itself and the parts of GameplayFramework it drove: per-item identity in the replicated inventory, the condition and wear system, the hotbar and inventory UI, and seeded procedural placement, each checked in play sessions including a three-player listen-server test.
How it is used
Combat, items, and procedural levels come from the plugin, so the game is mostly data assets and a few subclasses. Everything built for it stays general enough for the next game on the same foundation.
