Collectors Edition
A top-down collectible game made with Ludo Systems, where players explore, inspect, appraise, buy, and sell collectibles. Built on GameplayFramework.
What it is
Collectors Edition is a top-down game about collecting: coins, cards, stamps, and records to find, inspect, appraise, and trade with vendors. The collectibles and their art come from Ludo Systems’ content plugin.
What we built
The game layer on GameplayFramework: player and vendor attribute sets (credits, buying power, satisfaction) on the Gameplay Ability System, a collectible spawn manager that reads data tables and spawns server-authoritatively into the replicated inventory, vendor listings and dialog driven by data, save games, and a CommonUI interface on UMG ViewModels.
How it is used
Collectibles are defined in data tables, so new items, vendors, and listings are content changes rather than code. The inventory, saving, and UI come from the shared plugin.
