We’re looking for venues, studios, hardware companies, and research teams to make interactive experiences with. We bring experience design, engineering, and reusable software. You bring the space, the story and its characters, the hardware, or the research question.
Start with a conversation about what you want to explore. Together we can define a first test and agree on what would make it useful for both sides. Here are a few ways that could work.
Venues
Venues hosting a pilot
- What we contribute
- The experience software, the venue runtime that keeps every headset in one session, and the operator tools, and we run the test with guests on site.
- What a partner contributes
- The room, the hardware already in it, staff time during the test, and guests who will try it.
- A first project together
- One interaction tested with guests in the venue, and a short report on what to build next.
Studios and IP holders
Studios and IP holders exploring interactive characters
- What we contribute
- Story Engine grounding, so a character stays true to its source, character agents with a persona and a voice, and the engineering to put the character on a screen, in a headset, or on a robot.
- What a partner contributes
- The world, its characters, and the right to use them in a test with a small audience.
- A first project together
- One character in one scene, in conversation with a small audience, and a short report on how well it stayed true to the source.
Hardware companies
Hardware companies seeking an integrated demonstration
- What we contribute
- Integration of a device into a DASP experience alongside projection, sound, headsets, and robots, a demonstration in a real room, and engineering feedback on the integration.
- What a partner contributes
- The devices, their documentation, and an engineering contact who can answer questions during the integration.
- A first project together
- An integrated demonstration a visitor can try, and a written integration note the device team can act on.
Research teams
Research teams needing simulation or synthetic data
- What we contribute
- Engine-based simulation, synthetic-data pipelines in Unreal Engine, and labeled multi-view rendering with calibrated cameras and ground-truth passes.
- What a partner contributes
- The model or the research question, the data requirements, and a way to check the output against something the team trusts.
- A first project together
- One labeled dataset or one simulated scenario, checked against the team’s own model.

See the work at The Rectangle
The Rectangle in Santa Cruz is the room where we test mixed-reality games, interactive characters, and operator tools with real hardware and real people. It is the place to see the systems run and to try an idea before committing to it.
Contact us to arrange a demo. We’ll confirm what can be shown and find a time for your visit.
